NiumaScribe (niuma-online.com, the “Service”) provides audio/video-to-text transcription, subtitle translation and export. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, and how we use and protect it.

1. Information We Collect

Account data: the email you provide when registering or signing in. If you use “Sign in with Google”, we receive your email, name and profile picture from Google (for identification and display only — we never receive your password).
Content you upload: audio/video files you upload for transcription. For video, only the audio track is uploaded — the picture is not. Plus the text produced by transcription and translation.
Usage & billing data: balance, usage ledger, redemption records, and job duration/status, used for billing and abuse prevention.
Technical data: IP address, a device identifier (to prevent abuse of free trial credits) and basic access logs.

2. How We Use It

To provide and improve transcription, translation and export;
To manage accounts, compute and deduct credits, and process redemptions/top-ups;
To prevent abuse of free credits and other misuse;
To respond when you contact support.

3. Third-Party Processors

We use the following third parties only as needed:

Cloudflare — hosting, storage and content delivery;
Google — authentication when you choose “Sign in with Google”;
Speech-recognition and machine-translation providers — to process your uploaded audio into text and translate text.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Uploaded audio and transcripts are retained only as long as needed to provide the Service, then cleared on a schedule. You may request deletion of your account and related data at any time via support.

5. Your Rights

You may access, correct or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights or for any privacy question, please contact us via Support on the site.

6. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above will change accordingly.
